Does windows 7 home full version have the upgrade option?
I'm looking to upgrade From Vista to Windows 7. I want to get the full install disk in case of a Hard Drive problem. I wan to upgrade for now but after a hard drive replacement I don't want to have to install vista then windows 7.
yes, the windows disk has the full version of windows 7 on it. when you upgrade it only installs the components you need, but all the others are still there.

I have a Mac iBook G4 using panther v. 10.3.9
i lost the start up discs & i dont have the administrative password. Can i go straight from that to Leaopard? as in use that start up disc to change passwords or it wouldnt work?
ohh and it only has 256 MB
for leopard i think it needs more...problem?
Leopard needs at least 512MB RAM.
You need an administrator password anyway to upgrade. (I don't think you need one for a fresh, clean install - although I am not entirely sure.)

Will seagate freeagent external drive Mac edition work on PC?
I just bought a 1 TB external Hard Drive on ebay, but i didn't realize it said it was the Mac edition, and i have a PC.. is it still going to work? Do I need to do something to convert it? or did I really screw up?? All answers will be appreciated
Hmm... I'm not too sure. Do you know what format the external hard drive is? Since it is the Mac edition, chances are that it may be Mac formatted. I'm a Mac user and I have a Mac formatted external HD myself. My PC doesn't recognize it at all. I don't think most PCs are able to read Mac formatted HDs.
There should be a way to change the format of the external HD. Though, I really don't have much of an idea how to do this. I think if you go to "My Computer," the external HD should be listed there. If you right click the drive and click on "Format," you'll get to choose from a few different options to reformat the external HD. I'm not sure if this works since I haven't tested it out. Try searching Google: "reformat external hard drive". Or, just ask about it here on Yahoo! Answers.
Also, I forgot to mention that I found a program called "HFS Explorer" for the PC. It allows PCs to read Mac formatted hard drives and disk images. And, its free. With the use of this program I was able to successfully move files to and from my Mac formatted external HD. Here is the link:

GIVE AS MANY REASONS AS POSSIBLE? WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM OR MAC OS X 10.5 LEOPARD?
I have never used a mac nor will I ever just for the simple fact i am used to a PC. Vista has it's problem with compatablity issues such as not being able to find a printer or scanner. But, with microsoft in the picture be sure they will apply patches and updates as quickly as possible. Also microsoft is known to have a better response time with patches and updates then the mac in every catagory. I will say Mac is better right now but Microsoft's Vista will beat them in the long run...Hare and the tortise race here buddy.

Thankfully, I passed both.

These two schools are the only schools I took entrance tests from. And both universities are my dream school. And I like both of my chosen courses. My dad's from Ateneo, and my mom's from UP.

The course that you took in Ateneo is a very young course, so the program has still a long way to go. In fact, only 10 people have graduated from that course in 2007. However, the programs director of that course is very competent. Although it seems that you also intend to shift courses once you get to U.P, so i suggest you look at the schools and the kind of education as well as the learning environment that these schools have to offer.
Ateneo is, of course, has a much safer atmosphere. Although the campus is not immune to petty thieves and outsiders trying to take advantage of the students. The corridors are lined with guards at all times, to the point that most students goes to the extent of trying to avoid them. In terms of studies, Ateneo is very focused on core subjects, showering students with a myriad of Philosophy, Theology, Psychology, Economics and others. This is because the school aims to produce graduates with a common mind-frame that would make them distinctly Atenean.
UP, however, has an enormous campus. They have pretty much everything you need (even a bank and a barangay hall). In terms of education, they have excellent arts programs and their core subjects are limited. You are allowed to go straight to your major subjects almost immediately. However, lines are long, and most students do not get to graduate on time because they are unable to take the subjects they need.
The choice is really up to you. You have to decide what kind of education you are looking for
