I have a Mac iBook G4 using panther v. 10.3.9
i lost the start up discs & i dont have the administrative password. Can i go straight from that to Leaopard? as in use that start up disc to change passwords or it wouldnt work?
ohh and it only has 256 MB
for leopard i think it needs more...problem?
Leopard needs at least 512MB RAM.
You need an administrator password anyway to upgrade. (I don't think you need one for a fresh, clean install - although I am not entirely sure.)

Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or Windows Vista Home Premium? Which is better? Give as many reasons as possible?
GIVE AS MANY REASONS AS POSSIBLE? WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM OR MAC OS X 10.5 LEOPARD?
I have never used a mac nor will I ever just for the simple fact i am used to a PC. Vista has it's problem with compatablity issues such as not being able to find a printer or scanner. But, with microsoft in the picture be sure they will apply patches and updates as quickly as possible. Also microsoft is known to have a better response time with patches and updates then the mac in every catagory. I will say Mac is better right now but Microsoft's Vista will beat them in the long run...Hare and the tortise race here buddy.

Can i take an mp4 player, wipe out the software and install iTunes/apple software?
I want to take this "knock off" iPod and completely wipe out the software on it (mp4) and put an iTunes format, since that's what i'm used to. If i can't do that, how do i make separate artist folders, or a list of songs to pick from? When i click on songs, it just plays them all like a shuffle, one that shows the song names.
There's not much software involved - most of the differences are in the firmware. That's a chip, so you'd have to rip the guts out and install iPod "guts" - board, chips, etc. It would probably cost you more than buying an iPod.

How play computer games on a mac?
I want to play the SIMS on my mac computer my brother says I can't but the rest of my family says I can using BOOTCAMP. How do I use bootcamp? Is there any other way to play computer games. Like disc computer games.
Yes if you have an Intel Mac with Mac OSX leopard or above you will have bootcamp on your computer. You can get to it by going to Finder > Applications > Utilities. It means you can natively run windows so you run the Sims without a problem. Here's the instructions on how set up boot camp:
